The mission of the Dental Assisting National Board, Inc. (DANB) is to promote the public good by providing credentialing services to the dental community. DANBs specific certification programs are intended for the dental assistant: Certified Dental Assistant, Certified Orthodontic Assistant, and Certified Dental Practice Administrator. DANB also offers certificates of competency in Infection Control and Radiation Health and Safety. DANB certification exams are recognized or required in more than thirty-four states.
