This annual keynote address and dessert extravaganza will this year feature a presentation by Adele Scheele, Ph.D., an internationally recognized career coach and Director of the Career Center at California State University at Northridge. Dr. Scheele has guided organizations and individuals through changing markets and evolving lifestyles to emerge with not only new business opportunities but a deeper sense of purpose.
Dr. Scheeles counsel spans the working world from students just entering the market to seasoned executives creating meaningful next strategies. Hailed by the business world, professional associations, and universities as an original, articulate voice for both men and women, she motivates her audiences to take more courageous risks in their personal lives professional and personal fulfillment developed from her original research, crafted from experience, and tested over time.
Dr. Scheele wrote the bestselling books Skills for Success, Career Strategies (from Working Woman magazine), The "Good" Student Trap, and Jumpstart Your Career in College. In addition, she has written a nationally syndicated newspaper column, "At Work," for King Features, appearing in such newspapers as the New York Daily News, as well as the "Career Strategies" column for Working Woman in the United States, Japan, Singapore, and Malaysia. She also contributes to Boardroom Reports "Bottom Line."
Dr. Scheele has addressed audiences around the world, including the World Future Society, the Renaissance Institute, the World Dental Congress, Young Presidents Organizations Scholars Week, 3M, the Wharton MBA Program, Texas Instruments, Chase, the International Career Development Conference, and the American Association of Newspaper Publishers.
