The book is an excellent guide to everything one needs to know about endodontics. Its primary aim is to streamline the science of endodontics into an accessible format for undergraduate students and general practitioners and to clear up any confusion about many techniques developed in the twentieth century in the art and science of endodontics. The secondary objective of the book is to set the stage for accelerated learning for undergraduates and general practitioners as endodontic sciences continues to grow.
This book is written in an interesting, thought-provoking, succinct, and easily understandable manner with live cases and follow-up. As an academician, I congratulate Dr. Weine for his untiring efforts to make endodontic knowledge available to dentists, so they can render the best scientifically proven endodontic treatment to their patients. A considerable amount of the latest valid information on new materials and techniques is presented with exhaustive references in an academic and scientific manner. The discussion of how to avoid pitfalls in using those new technologies will be a great asset to the readers of this book. I believe it will certainly enhance the practitioners knowledge, confidence, and productivity.
I highly recommend this book without reservation to undergraduate students, general practitioners, and all readers of the JDE.
