Yes, when you complete the subscription process, you will receive a user name and a password. You are the only one licensed to use this password.
We have instructions for what to do if you forget your user name or your password. Details about how to do this will be included as part of the subscription process.
Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching at no cost and without having to register.
If your institution has a subscription, it will be eligible to have an electronic version of the journal as well. In so doing, you will automatically have access to the tables of contents, abstracts, full-text searching, full text display, PDFs, Medline and GenBank links, and future tables of contents. You'll also see a button at the top of the page confirming you're signed in as part of an institution.
If your institution does not have a subscription, it cannot get an electronic version of Journal of Dental Education. If you would like to have an institutional subscription, please contact your local librarian.
Individual members of ADEA now have the choice of the print and/or online version of the Journal.
ADEA Members automatically receive access to the online version of the journal at no charge. Members can opt to pay an additional $70 to receive the print version. Institutional subscriptions are somewhat more limited than Member Subscriptions. The special member services are not available to non-member subscribers, and full-text access from off of the institution's network (e.g. home access) is not available.
You may wish to apply for ADEA membership or you may wish to purchase an Individual (Non-Member) print subscription which provides access to the electronic version. Without a subscription you have access to Tables of contents, abstracts, and full text searching (without full text viewing) at no cost and without having to register.
Information about ADEA Membership and application forms are available from the ADEA.
